UST designs and manufactures high reliability terminals, connectors, sockets, MMIC packages, and special products for aircraft, space, military, and commercial applications. UST maintains a complete manufacturing facility including Swiss automatic screw machines, miniature presses, molding machines, automatic assembly units, wire forming, wire stripping, heat treating, precious metal plating, gold wire bonding, testing and certification. UST products are used in: aircraft communication and navigation equipment, Flight control systems, microwave transmission, global positioning system, deep space exploration, radar, sonar, inertial navigation, radio telephones, computer printers, charging systems. switching systems, safety and arming devices and fuses. UST was on board: Mercury, Gemini, Apollo, Lunar Module and is on numerous satellites. UST ordnance components for: Rockeye, Tow Missiles, Mark 46, Hydra 70 Rockets, Simulators M-21, M-25, M-26. UST has been privileged to supply components to most of the major aerospace and communication companies in the U.S. and have been a part of many of their major accomplishments UST has, through our design efforts, obtained over twenty U.S. and foreign patents; and believe that we have contributed significantly to manufacturing cost reductions at many of our customers facilities through superior product design, high product quality and on-time delivery.
